She grabbed my headphones,
Put it on, pulled out the microphone.
Dragged the piano bench into the study—
A newscast.
Two high back chairs
And a wooden board to complete the set.
She interviewed
Her brother.
Next morning,
He filled cups with blocks.
Juice

A new café
On that piano bench.
As I yammered on,
Wearing those headphones.
