I’m a registered Architect in Las Vegas, by way of Orange County, San Jose, Berkeley, and Houston. I live with my wife and two kids in a nondescript stucco box. I work for as the architect in our strategic planning team for a county agency.

Why subscribe?

Grizzlypear.com is my personal blog. Writing sharpens my mind when I know it will be publicly released. I hope you will also enjoy reading these pieces.

I’m currently cross-posting here and at my mothership — I’m not picky about how you find my work.

This newsletter has three sections so you can subscribe one or all as desired.

• MicroEssays - Creative non-fictions, mainly “Notes on my Consumption” because I try to write about everything that I read or watch.

• Artifacts — Showcasing work, old and new.

• Penny Delights — In 2022, Verlyn Klinkenborg’s Several Short Sentences about Writing inspired me to start a series of “written snapshots” of life with kids.

When?

The publication frequency will fluctuate depending on my personal and work schedules. However, I won’t publish more than once a day.
