Hey, if you use something often, it's not a waste of money. Time is precious! As for the ceiling fans, we in northern Nevada still have fans to augment the coolers. (AC and swamp) In fact, I'd rather ave the fans going all day with their gentle breezes than a cooler turning the air to ice. BRRRRR.
Very true! The coldness of AC is never comfortable. We have plastic divertors throughout the house so that the AC doesn't blow directly on the people underneath!
Yup just simple plastic things with magnets that connect to the register but at least the push the air away from directly down. Well worth it if you have a seat right under a ac vent.
