Finding the kid lit crowd made me start drawing again! It had been such a fear based block for basically twenty years....and it was just so much fun to play and share out there.
Maybe that’s the missing aspect of Notes that need to help create - playfulness. I find Substack very earnest and serious. Which makes sense for long form newsletters, but the short form of Notes should give us room to make a mess.
To repurpose a quip from six months ago, it’s up to each of us to make the Notes that we want to see. 😀
