There is a Scarpa museum in Venice. Small place, an architect friend had to see the place when we were there. It was a very intimate introduction for me. I will look for the tome you mentioned. Thanks.
Oh wow, I missed it in my Italy trip in 2007….but we did hit Brion Cemetery which is way out of the way. Totally worth it, lovely couple hours. If I were to revisit Europen it would be to catch all the Scarpa that I missed!
As for the (now) pricey book I just got for myself, it’s the Rizzoli volume from 1985 edited by Mazzariol and Dal Co. I’ll warn you that the introductory essay in the life of Scarpa was all adorational vibes but otherwise unintelligible (unless my noggin is the nekkid empire!)
